Tracking cup (knock-out) competitions

Match groups can also be used when the competition does not include any real group.

For example, for a knockout competition (say a cup competition with only 16 teams), you can assign a group to each stage of the cup (i.e. one group for the 16th finals, one group for the Quarter finals, etc.) and then assign each match to the corresponding match group.

To specify the match groups of your league:

1.	From the main toolbar, select Tools > League configuration.

2.	From the Configure league screen, select the match group to rename from the list.

3.	Click Rename group.

4.	Enter the new name of the group and click OK.
