The data contained within a league file consists of:
·League settings
·Information about teams, players, referees, locations, matches, and match events.

The more data you enter, the more statistics LeaguePad provides.

You may choose to track matches by inputting a minimum amount of data, for example the teams, round number and score of each match only. That amount of data will be enough for the program to calculate basic statistics, such as the league table.

However, in order to display tables such as scorers' statistics, attendance tables or referee-related statistics, the program will obviously need additional information on each match and each meaningful event that occurred during each match.

When you open a league, all buttons of the main toolbar are enabled, allowing you to add, edit, view, or delete any type of data and/or statistics in your league.

Note
From this point on, we will assume that a league is already open.
