For each match, the Match screen allows to set the following data:

Local team (required)
Select the home team from the list.

Visitor team (required)
Select the visitor team from the list

Number of goals scored by the home team / visitor team
Click the button under each team corresponding to the number of goals scored by the teams.
If a team has scored more than 5 goals/points, click "+" and type the exact number of goals/points scored.

Half-time score
LeaguePad automatically calculates and tracks half-time scores based on data such as total match duration and the minute at which each goal has been scored.
However if you are not tracking scorers and minutes of goals in your league but still want to track half-time scores, the program allows to input the half-time score manually.

Note: The value you enter as half-time score is unrelated to the automatically calculated half-time score feature maintained by the program. It is up to you to decide, in the program's options (Match list appearance), which of the "manual" or "automatic" half-time score value should appear when listing matches.

Round (required)
Also called "Match day". Enter the round number to which the match belongs.

Note: Each team can only play once in each Round (unless you configure the league differently from the Configure League options).

Date (required)
Type or select the date from the drop-down calendar.

Match details
You can enter the following details about the match: Kick-off time, Attendance, Match rating, Referee rating, TV channel (if the match is televised), whether the match was won after extra-time, and whether the match has been won on a penalty shoot-out.

Match status (required)
Choose between the following:
·Fixture (not played yet)
·Match postponed (date unknown)
·Match played
·Forfeit local team
·Forfeit visitor team

When you create a new match, the Match status is set to Fixture (not played yet) by default.

Note
For more information about forfeits, see Tracking matches won by forfeit.

Match group
If your league includes a group stage, or if you are following a cup competition, you can select the group that the match belongs to, for example "Group A", "Northern conference", "Quarter finals", "Semi-finals", etc.
Group names can be customized from the Configure League screen.
For more information on match groups, see Tracking match groups.

Referee
Select the referee from the drop-down list (click Edit referees to add or modify referees).

Neutral location
If the match is not played at the usual stadium of the home team, you can enable the Neutral location check box, and select a location from the drop-down list (click Edit locations to add or modify locations).

Match statistics
You can enter team-level statistics for the match, for example the number of shots on goal by the local team, or the number of off-side decisions against the visitor team, etc.
You can click Rename match stats, to rename any of the five user-defined match statistics. This is useful when tracking other types of statistics, or for sports other than football/soccer.

Match comments
Free text area to enter comments about the match.

Your predictions
If the match has not been played yet, tick the boxes corresponding to your predictions for this match.

When you'll enter the match result, and if you have set up the match list so that your predictions appear, the program will highlight your predictions in different colors in the list, depending on whether those predictions have been successful or not.

Do not count in league table
If you enable that option, the match result will not be counted in the league table calculation. You may want to use that option for play-off matches at the end of the season, or to track friendly games played alongside the league.
