Creating and modifying locations

From the main toolbar, select Configure > Edit locations to access the Locations screen.

The locations are used when a match does not take place at the usual stadium of the home team (which is the stadium recorded in the home team details). For example, when a match is played on neutral ground, or when all matches of the league are played at a limited number of locations, you can assign a match to a specific location.

Another example of the use of location is when you are managing a league where all matches of Group A are scheduled to be played at a specific location (for example "Field 1"). This is quite useful when tracking the tournaments where all matches are played the same day and are spread among a limited number of fields.

You can perform the following actions:

Adding a new location
1.Click Add  
2.Enter at least the location's name (you can also enter additional data like the location's address, details of the responsible person, notes and comments, etc.)  
3.Click Save.  
 
Modifying location data
1.Select a location from the list  
2.Modify the data  
3.Click Save.  
 
Deleting a location
1.Select a location from the list  
2.Click Delete.  
 
If there has not been any match assigned to the location, the location will be deleted.
If there are matches assigned to the location, you first need to delete the corresponding matches before the program will allow the deletion of the location (or select a different location for these matches).



Note
You can also access the Locations screen from the Match screen, when you are entering a new match or modifying the data of an existing match.
