Previous  Top  Next

This feature allows to build an entire Web site, complete with navigation menu, of your league information, matches and statistics.

Launching the creation of the Web site
You can use the following procedure to create your league Web site using the current Web site settings:

1
Select Tools > Create Web site from the main screen (or select Create Web site from the Export screen). The Create Web site screen appears.
2
Click the Create Web site button.

Selecting the Web site content
You can select the statistical reports to include in your league Web site using the following procedure:

1
Click Select stats from the Create Web site screen (or click Options from the main screen and select the Create Web site tab).
2
Enable the check box corresponding to any report you want your league Web site to display.
3
Select whether or not you want the Statistics menu to appear on each page (enable or disable "Show navigation menu in exported pages").

You may want to disable the navigation menu if you have created your own navigation menu for the LeaguePad statistics on your Web site.
4
Click Save.
5
Enter the path where you want the league Web site files to be created. You may also click Browse and select the directory from the browse list.
6
From the Create Web site screen, you can click Edit Header.htm or Edit Footer.htm if you haven't already configured these files.

The data of the Header.htm and Footer.htm files is included at the top and the bottom of each page of your league Web site. Editing these pages allows to customize the look-and-feel of the pages generated for your league Web site (see Exporting to HTML for more information)

You would typically configure the settings above once, so that all you need to do each time you want to update your site is click the Create Web site button.

Location of the Web site files

When you click Create Web site, the program creates all HTML files of the Web site at the location specified. When the Web site is finished, you can click the View Web site button to see how the site looks like, or you can directly open the start.htm file from your Web browser.
You can then upload the content of the Web site folder to your server.

Note
By default, the league Web site files are copied to the following directory:
c:\program files\leaguepad\website
