Adding events
Previous  Top  Next

Events are added from the Event List screen and the Add event screen.

You can access the Event List screen in two ways:

·Select a match and click Events from the match list toolbar
·From the Match screen of the match for which you want to add events, click Save and edit events.

The Event List screen displays all the events recorded for the selected match. The following information is provided for each event: player name, team abbreviation, minute, event name.

To add a new event, you can use the following procedure:

1
From the Event list, click Add events. The Add events screen appears.
2
Select the player associated with the event from one of the two player lists (required).
3
Select the type of event (required).
4
Select a minute.
5
Click Save (and add new).
The event is added to a small list of events at the bottom of the screen. The last event saved is displayed in red. If you want to add other events, click Save (and add new) again.
6
When all match events have been added, click Done to close the Add events screen and return to the Event List screen.

Events in added time
If the event occured during added/injury time (first-half or second half), enter the number of minutes in extra-time in the corresponding text box.
If the number of minutes in any of the extra-time boxes is other than zero, the program will only take that value into consideration and ignore the minute specified in the minute list (if any). The minute will then be recorded according to the following examples: (45+3) if the event occured 3 minutes into added time of the first half or (90+2) if the event occured 2 minutes into added time of the second half.
This assumes that the total match duration is 90 minutes. You can specify the total match duration in minutes from the Configure League screen.

Note
When you add an event, the program "remembers" the selections of the previous event (player, event type, minute) and defaults to the same selections for the next event. This allows to quickly add multiple events assigned to the same player without having to reselect the same player each time for each new event.
